Approved Construction Materials
we’ve seen how poor cement, cracked tiles, or fake wires can silently ruin homes. That’s why we approve only site-tested, batch-verified, and brand-reliable materials before we build.

Materials make the home. Not all brands do.” In construction, a strong design is useless without strong materials. At SCW, we don’t just accept what’s available — We approve only those materials that match our performance, durability, and consistency standards. Because one weak batch of cement, one rejected tile lot, or one poor-quality pipe…can silently damage your home for years.
| Checkpoint | What We Do |
|---|---|
| Brand Credibility | Known & trusted brand with consistent batch performance |
| Batch Inspection | Batch no., expiry (if any), manufacturing unit, visible defects, or mismatch |
| Local Testing | Cement rubbing, brick drop test, sand feel test, tile tapping — basic site-level validation |
| Visual/Shape Consistency | Uniform shape, clean finish, no bends/warps, no cracks or deformities |
| Supplier Reliability | Does the vendor replace damaged stock without excuses? |
| Client Matching (for finishes) | Does the tile, stone, paint or laminate match the sample chosen by the client? |
| Category | Preferred Brands / Types |
|---|---|
| Cement | UltraTech OPC/PPC, JK Super, Shree Cement (fresh, unopened bags only) |
| Steel | TMT Fe500/550 Grade – Tata, Kamdhenu, JSW (or as per structural drawing) |
| Bricks / Blocks | 1st class red clay bricks, Flyash AAC blocks with sharp edges |
| Sand / Aggregate | Clean river sand, coarse crush metal 20mm/10mm (non-dusty, non-salty) |
| Tiles | Kajaria, Somany, Johnson (full box of same batch only) |
| Pipes & Fittings | Ashirvad, Supreme, Finolex (heavy-duty, pressure-tested) |
| Electricals | Anchor, Polycab, Havells wires; modular switches (non-local) |
| Waterproofing | Dr. Fixit, Fosroc, Sika — with proper layering, not just brushing |
| Paint & Putty | Asian Paints, Nerolac, Birla White Putty — matched to the correct surface type |
We stay updated with product recalls and site-level reviews — any material with known issues is rejected immediately.
We politely reject:
Cheap cement bags with no manufacturing print
Chipped or mismatched tile lots
Hollow bricks or handmade blocks
Sand with mud, dust, or salty smell
Fake/duplicate brand copies from local vendors
Unbranded plastic pipes or thin wires
Bent steel rods from scrap yards
Paints that peel within a year
💡 These may save a few thousand today — but can cost lakhs in repairs, leakage, and early damage.
We click & store on-site photos of:
Cement batch before use
Tile lot before fixing
Bricks before unloading
Steel cutting layout before bending
Pipe joint layout before covering
All records are available on request — so you always know what’s going inside your walls.
You’re always welcome to:
Choose a tile / paint / laminate of your liking
Suggest a preferred brand
Ask us to verify or test it before purchase
We never push brands — we only push quality.
Final approval is always a joint decision between SCW and the client, based on performance and site fit.
A home’s beauty starts at the surface. A home’s strength starts in the materials. At SCW, we build both — from the ground up.
Absolutely. You're welcome to suggest brands you prefer for finishes like tiles, paint, or fittings. We’ll test them on-site, and if they meet SCW’s checklist, we’ll approve them. Final material selection is always a joint decision between the client and SCW.
No. We use materials that are reliable in quality and consistent in performance — whether they’re mid-range or premium. We reject fake, mismatched, or poor-quality items, but that doesn’t mean everything has to be expensive.
We check every material’s batch number, manufacturing unit, expiry (if any), and visible defects.
Basic on-site tests like cement rubbing, brick drop test, tile tapping, and sand feel test help us spot problems before use.
SCW only works with trusted vendors who replace damaged stock without excuses.
If a vendor consistently sends poor-quality materials, we stop working with them.
Yes. We maintain a photo record of key materials like cement batch, tile boxes, bricks, pipe joints, and steel cutting layouts. These records are available to the client on request — so you're never in the dark.
You can choose either:
Let SCW manage material supply (recommended for consistency, warranty, and accountability),
Or you can purchase materials yourself — but we’ll test and approve them before use. If a material fails our checks, we won’t install it.
Yes, but only after testing. If a new product is suggested (like eco-friendly blocks, waterproof putty, or quick-set cement), we’ll first test it on-site. If it passes our performance and consistency standards, we approve it.
We’re available every day to serve you with quality, trust, and commitment.
