Client Responsibilities

we don’t believe in jugaad or shortcuts. Even basic work like plastering or tile fixing demands proper tools and smart techniques — or else the job may look fine today but fail silently tomorrow.
That’s why we carry our own reliable tools and apply proven site methods to get it right the first time.

Why Client Responsibility Matters In home construction

The contractor and client must work in sync. Just as we commit to quality and timelines, we expect the same level of support, clarity, and cooperation from the client. This section outlines exactly what we expect from every homeowner to keep the work smooth, fast, and trouble-free.

1. Site Access & Basic Arrangements

  • Ensure our team has full and timely access to the site as per work schedule.
  • If the property is within a society, prior permissions and gate access must be arranged by the client.
  • Provide water and electricity at the site, unless otherwise discussed.

2. Timely Material Supply (if client-arranged)

  • If materials (like cement, sand, tiles, etc.) are to be supplied by the client, ensure timely delivery as per work requirement.
  • Any delay in material may delay work, and we will not be held responsible.
  • Low-quality or incompatible materials must be replaced to avoid rework or failure.

3. Timely Payments

  • Payment must begin from the first day of work and continue stage-wise or weekly.
  • Any delay in payment may result in immediate pause of work.
  • See full payment terms.

4. Scope Finalization Before Work

  • Finalize the full list of required work before we begin.
  • Any new requests after starting will be treated as extra items, with separate charges.
  • Avoid mid-way design or structural changes without prior discussion.

5. No Verbal Instructions for Extra Work

  • Always confirm extra work or changes in writing (SMS, WhatsApp, or email).
  • Verbal instructions will not be accepted for billing or dispute resolution.

6. Safety & Site Conduct

  • Keep the site safe, free from unnecessary interference or disputes.
  • If third-party vendors (electricians, plumbers, etc.) hired by client are working alongside us, coordinate to avoid site conflict.

7. Prompt Feedback

  • If you are unhappy with any stage of work, let us know immediately.
  • Waiting until the end to complain is not acceptable. Raise concerns early so they can be addressed on time.

8. Respect Labour Time & Working Conditions

  • Our team works with discipline and dignity. Please avoid unnecessary pressure, arguments, or extended overtime demands.
  • Avoid direct instructions to labourers. Always route changes or concerns via contractor.

9. Dispute Communication

  • Any concerns must be raised directly with Suresh Contractor Works.
  • Threats, abuse, or false allegations will result in work stoppage and legal notice.

10. Handover & Closure

  • At project completion, the client must inspect and confirm final work.
  • Once approved, final bill must be cleared within 3 days.
  • No changes or complaints will be entertained after formal handover.

Important Reminder Construction is a collaboration. Clear communication, timely decisions, and mutual respect are key to completing your dream home without delays or conflict. We are committed to giving our best — and expect the same from our clients.
