At SCW, we don’t believe in fixing mistakes later. We believe in doing it right from the start.
That’s why we follow a strict Stage-Wise Quality Control (QC) process where every major milestone is inspected, verified, and documented before the next phase begins.
Because one unchecked mistake can silently ruin everything that comes after it.
| Construction Stage | What SCW Checks | What Others Often Miss |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Site Marking & Excavation | Layout accuracy, depth, soil strength, plinth level | Guess-based layout, no leveling tools |
| 2. Foundation & PCC | Soil compaction, mix ratio, plastic sheet (if needed), level check | Uneven pour, weak prep, skipped leveling |
| 3. RCC Steel & Shuttering | Bar spacing, overlap, hook length, shuttering tightness, thickness, vibration | Random steel placement, honeycombing, leaks |
| 4. Brickwork / Masonry | Wall alignment, plumb, joint width, corner locking, daily curing | Tilted walls, gaps, poor bonding |
| 5. Slab & Lintel Casting | Steel as per drawings, drain slope, vibrator use, curing schedule | No slope, early de-shuttering, over-pour |
| 6. Staircase & Parapet Walls | Step height, railing joint strength, drain pipe exit | Uneven steps, missing outlets, loose parapets |
| 7. Frame Fixing (Doors/Windows) | Frame plumb, holdfast anchoring, tile-level alignment, gap sealing | Tilted or loose frames, wrong height |
| 8. Electrical & Plumbing Setup | Pipe depth/slope, pressure test, box alignment, circuit map, earthing | No testing, wrong wiring, pipe leaks |
| 9. Plaster & Surface Finish | Wall flatness, plaster ratio, curing, straight edges | Dry patches, cracks, rough walls |
| 10. Flooring & Tiling | Tile line, spacing, slope to drain, hollowness test | Air gaps, misalignment, incorrect slope |
| 11. Waterproofing Work | Layer thickness, overlaps, sealing, ponding test | Just coating, no testing, seepage risk |
| 12. Paint & Putty Finish | Smoothness, brush marks, sanding, final shade, damp signs | Patchy coats, flaking paint, visible cracks |
| 13. Final QC Before Handover | Window alignment, socket/tap test, drainage check, touchups | Only cleaning, no real testing |
Why Stage-Wise QC Saves You From Regret
Prevents hidden flaws and costly rework
Identifies problems before they escalate
Keeps labour and subcontractors accountable
Helps homeowners understand what’s really going into their home
Gives you proof if issues arise later
Most homeowners never realize the quality level of their site.
SCW makes it transparent and trackable from day one.
| Level | Quality Type | What It Means | SCW Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🔴 Level 1 | Basic Completion Only | Low-cost, risky builds that only look “done” on the surface — full of future problems | Not acceptable |
| 🟠 Level 2 | Functional Work | Usable but no real checks or documentation. Weak long-term reliability. | Below our minimum |
| 🔵 Level 3 | Controlled Quality | Moderate checks and basic finish — no transparency | Minimum SCW Level |
| 🟢 Level 4 | Disciplined Execution | Daily QC, verified work, proof-based monitoring, better longevity | SCW Standard |
| 🟢Level 5 | SCW Gold Standard | Layer-by-layer QC, expert-led checks, photo/video proof, clean handover | Our Benchmark |
At SCW, quality is not a checkbox — it’s the construction process itself. We don’t let the work move forward until what lies beneath is truly right.
That’s why our homes don’t just last — they stay strong for decades.
It means we inspect and verify every construction stage — from excavation to paint — before the next begins. It ensures strength, accuracy, and long-term performance.
Not at all. In fact, it saves time in the long run by preventing rework and delays caused by poor quality or hidden errors.
Yes. We keep you updated through photos, site discussions, and client calls if needed — full transparency is a key part of our promise.
We stop, fix it immediately, and only move forward after rechecking. We never carry faults into the next layer of work.
Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to visit at any stage and see the process yourself.
We’re available every day to serve you with quality, trust, and commitment.
