Agreement Terms

A construction project runs smoothly only when both client and contractor are on the same page. This Work Agreement by SCW defines all expectations, timelines, roles, and legal boundaries — to ensure your project is completed without confusion, surprise costs, or blame games.

Scope of Work

We only carry out the tasks that are clearly discussed, documented, and approved in advance.
May include:

🔸 Full residential construction

🔸 Masonry, RCC, plastering, finishing

🔸 Bathroom/kitchen setup

🔸 Electrical, plumbing, flooring, waterproofing

Any extra/unlisted work will be quoted separately.

Labour & Supervision

🔸 All work is executed by trained masons and labour.

🔸 Supervision is done by Suresh Ji (35+ years’ experience) or a senior SCW site head.

🔸 Any mistakes, misconduct, or quality issues are corrected without excuses.

Site Access & Client Support

Clients must ensure:

🔸 Site access during working hours

🔸 Basic facilities (electricity, water, storage)

🔸 No obstruction by third parties

If access is blocked, SCW is not liable for delay.

Material Responsibility

🔸 By default, materials are to be purchased by the client.

🔸 SCW can assist with sourcing, but is not liable for quality unless agreed in writing.

🔸 Delivery delays by suppliers are not SCW’s fault.

Payment Terms (No Advance Policy)

We follow a Start-to-Work model:

🔸 No advance required

🔸 Payments start from Day 1 of work

🔸 Weekly or stage-wise payments allowed

🔸 Work for next stage begins only after dues for previous stage are cleared

Delayed payments = delayed work

Project Timeline & Delays

🔸 Timelines are estimated and shared before starting.

🔸 Force majeure delays (weather, strikes, illness, lockdowns) are treated as valid.

🔸 In such cases, updated timelines are shared.

Modifications & Extra Work

🔸 Any new scope or design change must be:

🔸 In writing (message, email, or WhatsApp)

🔸 Quoted and approved before work starts

Verbal instructions are not valid

Site Inspection & Final Handover

Client may inspect work during execution.
Handover includes:

🔸 Final site check

🔸 Minor touchups or pending corrections

🔸 Payment clearance

Project is marked complete only after this

Workmanship Warranty (6 Months)

Covers structural labour quality only:

🔸 Cracks, slope issues, tile gaps, etc. (if due to execution)

🔸 Labour will be provided free

🔸 Client pays for repair materials and handling charges

Warranty does NOT cover:

🔸 Damage due to client’s modifications

🔸 Natural events (rain, flood, earthquake)

🔸 Low-quality materials bought by client

Termination of Agreement

🔸 Both parties can cancel with 7 days written notice.

🔸 If client cancels midway: must pay for work done

🔸 If SCW fails excessively: client may request fair refund

Dispute Resolution

🔸 First, resolve through mutual talk

🔸 If unresolved, matter will be handled under Delhi jurisdiction

🔸 Evidence: messages, bills, photos, and signed records

Confirmation & Copy

🔸 Agreement is valid via signature or clear digital approval (WhatsApp, SMS, or email)

🔸 A copy is retained by both SCW and the client for reference.
