A construction project runs smoothly only when both client and contractor are on the same page. This Work Agreement by SCW defines all expectations, timelines, roles, and legal boundaries — to ensure your project is completed without confusion, surprise costs, or blame games.
We only carry out the tasks that are clearly discussed, documented, and approved in advance.
May include:
🔸 Full residential construction
🔸 Masonry, RCC, plastering, finishing
🔸 Bathroom/kitchen setup
🔸 Electrical, plumbing, flooring, waterproofing
Any extra/unlisted work will be quoted separately.
🔸 All work is executed by trained masons and labour.
🔸 Supervision is done by Suresh Ji (35+ years’ experience) or a senior SCW site head.
🔸 Any mistakes, misconduct, or quality issues are corrected without excuses.
Clients must ensure:
🔸 Site access during working hours
🔸 Basic facilities (electricity, water, storage)
🔸 No obstruction by third parties
If access is blocked, SCW is not liable for delay.
🔸 By default, materials are to be purchased by the client.
🔸 SCW can assist with sourcing, but is not liable for quality unless agreed in writing.
🔸 Delivery delays by suppliers are not SCW’s fault.
We follow a Start-to-Work model:
🔸 No advance required
🔸 Payments start from Day 1 of work
🔸 Weekly or stage-wise payments allowed
🔸 Work for next stage begins only after dues for previous stage are cleared
Delayed payments = delayed work
🔸 Timelines are estimated and shared before starting.
🔸 Force majeure delays (weather, strikes, illness, lockdowns) are treated as valid.
🔸 In such cases, updated timelines are shared.
🔸 Any new scope or design change must be:
🔸 In writing (message, email, or WhatsApp)
🔸 Quoted and approved before work starts
Verbal instructions are not valid
Client may inspect work during execution.
Handover includes:
🔸 Final site check
🔸 Minor touchups or pending corrections
🔸 Payment clearance
Project is marked complete only after this
🔸 Cracks, slope issues, tile gaps, etc. (if due to execution)
🔸 Labour will be provided free
🔸 Client pays for repair materials and handling charges
🔸 Damage due to client’s modifications
🔸 Natural events (rain, flood, earthquake)
🔸 Low-quality materials bought by client
🔸 Both parties can cancel with 7 days written notice.
🔸 If client cancels midway: must pay for work done
🔸 If SCW fails excessively: client may request fair refund
🔸 First, resolve through mutual talk
🔸 If unresolved, matter will be handled under Delhi jurisdiction
🔸 Evidence: messages, bills, photos, and signed records
🔸 Agreement is valid via signature or clear digital approval (WhatsApp, SMS, or email)
🔸 A copy is retained by both SCW and the client for reference.

Yes, in India even a signed paper or WhatsApp-approved message is valid.
Work pauses until payments are cleared. No new stages begin without settlement.
Yes — but changes must be written and agreed on before starting.
If rates rise, SCW will inform you before moving forward. No surprise billing.
Contractor ensures worker safety; client must ensure site access and boundary safety.
Yes, a full payment breakdown will be shared at project completion.
If it's covered by our workmanship warranty (6 months), we'll fix it free — labour only.
Yes, if discussed beforehand. Otherwise, client handles procurement.
Yes, but work done so far must be paid for. Proper notice required.
No — only written or clearly messaged agreements are honored.
